Bravo Reality Star Accused of Drugging, Assaulting Two Women

by at .  Updated at .

An orthopedic surgeon who televison fans may remember from an episode of the Bravo series Online Dating Rituals of the American Male has been accused of raping at least two women.

The details, as outlined below, are truly heinous...

Dr. Grant William Robicheaux

Dr. Grant William Robicheaux and his girlfriend, Cerissa Laura Riley,  have both been charged for the pair of alleged attacks, multiple outlets confirm.

And authorities say there may be more victims out there after they reportedly came across recordings of the couple engaged in sex acts with unconscious and semi-conscious women.

We told you: this is simply horrifying stuff.

Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas confirmed the arrests of Robicheaux and Riley in a press conference on Tuesday.

“We believe the defendants used their good looks and charms to lower the inhibitions of their potential prey,” Rackauckas explained, adding:

“We have all heard of a wolf dressing up in sheep’s clothing. But a wolf can wear scrubs or be a doctor’s clothing. That wolf can be a beautiful woman."

The district attorney went on to provide more general background on perpetrators of sexual assault, saying before a throng of reporters:

“People often assume that rapists are creepy, scary men who lunge out from hiding amongst bushes and attack unsuspecting women. The reality is that rapists come in all socioeconomic groups, of any background.”

According to legal documents that have been made public, the pair’s charges relate to two incidents from 2016.

Robicheaux and Riley supposedly met an unnamed 32-year-old at a restaurant in Newport Beach, in one instance.

Prosecutors allege they proceeded to invite this woman to a boat party on April 10, prior to eventually bringing her back to Robicheaux’s apartment after they plied her with plenty of alcohol and other drugs.

This is when they are accused of raping her.

The victim filed a police report the next day and tested positive for “multiple controlled substances.”

A second woman allegedly has a similar story:

She drank with the pair at a bar in Newport Beach on October 2 before they took her to Robicheaux’s apartment and “sexually assaulting her with intent to commit rape.”

This woman woke up during the attack and screamed, however, prompting a neighbor to call the police.

Rackauckas says the couple recorded their sex acts.

He added that he's concerned there may be more women out there who were targeted by the pair, who are pictured below:

After searching Robicheaux’s phone, Rackauckas said the following:

"There are several videos where the women in the videos appear highly intoxicated beyond the ability to consent or resist and they’re barely responsive to the defendants’ sexual advances...

"We don’t know how many victims there might be out there, but we ask you to come forward."

A search of the doctor's home in January resulted in the discovery of “large quantities of illegal drugs, two illegal, unregistered assault rifles, four other firearms, and several large capacity magazines."

Robicheaux has been charged with:

Rape by use of drugs, oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance, assault with intent to commit sexual offense, possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of an assault weapon.

awful couple

He appeared on the aforementioned Bravo series in 2014, turning to online dating to find the women of his dreams with the help of his roommate.

Bravo has not yet issued a comment, but it removed the episode from its Internet archives yesterday.

This is what an attorney for the couple said in response to the arrests:

All allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Grant Robicheaux and his girlfriend Cerissa Riley.

They have been aware of these accusations for a number of months, and each of them will formally deny the truth of these allegations at their first opportunity in court.

Dr. Robicheaux and Ms. Riley believe that such allegations do a disservice to, and dangerously undermine, the true victims of sexual assault, and they are eager to have the proper spotlight shed on this case in a public trial.

It must be noted that none of the allegations in this matter relate to or concern Dr. Robicheaux’s medical practice or patients in any way.
