Big Brother Recap: Who Will Return?

by at .

If you were looking for Julie Chen to announce that next Thursday's edition of Big Brother would include the season's first double eviction, then you got a very different announcement.

One player will return to the game as part of a Jury Battle Back. At the top of the hour, the jury consisted of Bayliegh and Rockstar.

CBS opted to switch up the format this week by showing us some more drama ahead of the veto ceremony, and boy, it was downright bizarre.

Scottie Salton was still on the block, and he knew that with Brett Robinson coming off the block that he needed to do something if he had any hope of remaining in the game.

That's why he turned to Faysal in perhaps one of the dumbest moves in the history of the game. He asked Fessy to backdoor Haleigh. You know, Fessy's girlfriend.

This was enough for Fessy to tell Haleigh that the man she's been trying to save has been the one conspiring to get her on the block.

Haleigh did not take it well, crying in the Diary Room and to Angela, Kaycee, and Tyler. She couldn't fathom why he would stick the knife in her back.

She tried to get answers from Scottie who ultimately admitted that it was best for her game to distance herself from him or she ran the risk of becoming a target.

Scottie then admitted that he already started the process of their parting of ways and that he was sorry for it, but wanted her to have the best chance at success.

Realizing the error of his ways, Scottie turned to Fessy and said that he has strong feelings for Haleigh and that's why he did what he did.

That was enough for Faysal to reveal to viewers that Scottie was the number one target for the week. It was evident the moment Scottie showed interest in Haleigh that he would be going home.

Ahead of the eviction, Faysal, Haleigh, Angela, and Tyler had a meeting, and they all agreed to join an alliance to get the rest of the houseguests out of the game.

Angela and Tyler were only at the meeting to make sure they were safe for the next week.

The pair chatted after it and said they would rather not win HOH if nobody is targeting them, and that it would keep them in good standing with everyone.

Julie wondered why he did what he did to Haleigh and he said he planned to get Sam put up in Brett's place, and shift the target on to her.

Julie was glad that she heard about the logic of it all, but still wondered why it went down that way.

She then left viewers with the news that Scottie, Bayliegh, Rockstar and next week's evictee will battle to return to the game.
