The Voice Recap: Who Got a Four-Chair Turn?!

by at .

Night two of The Voice Season 14 found coaches Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton trying their best to find the next strong competitor who could be nurtured all the way until the end.

Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton on The Voice

It's surprising that there are still some talented vocalists out there when you consider how long The Voice has been on the air. On top of that, it's not like much of the winners have any staying power.

Alas, singing competition series tend to go on for dear life.

Who made it through to the next stage of the competition?

Let's run down the latest auditions!

Davison - “To Love Somebody”

Davison appeared on the stage, and it seemed like he was going to be one of the best of the night. He talked a big game, but his vocals lacked something.

His whole performance was littered with less than stellar vocals, and it showed throughout. Adam must have seen something in him because he got to join his team.

Adam Levine on The Voice Season 14

Jaclyn Lovey - “Can’t Help Falling in Love”

This 16-year-old had it all: Solid vocals, charisma and a great stage presence. Her voice was something unheard of for her generation. It would not have been that surprising if she later revealed she was much older.

Alicia seemed to like it, and that's why the kid landed a spot on her team.

Molly Stevens - “Heavenly Day”

While this was not the best Patty Griffin cover, the overall performance had a lot of good things. Molly struggled growing up as a gay Southern Baptist.

Her story was heartbreaking but filled with hope.  The good thing to come out of all of that heartbreak is that she's got a great voice and knows how to perform.

She made her way to Team Kelly. We can't help but think that was the best move for her at this stage.

Kelly Clarkson, The Voice Season 14

Dylan Hartigan - “Danny’s Song”

Once upon a time, Dylan was an actor, and after his first performance, we think he should probably stick to acting. His performance was shaky and unengaging.

He joined Team Kelly, but it seems like one of the most bizarre pairings in the history of the series.

Pryor Baird - “I Don’t Need No Doctor”

This episode saved the best for last, and that came in the form of Pryor, a 35-year-old from California. He was a country singer, and Blake loved that.

He snapped Pryor up for his team the moment he heard him open his mouth. He knew it was fate that a country singer would be sent to him before the episode was over.
