If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you're probably aware that Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz's relationship isn't of the variety that inspires "#CouplesGoals" tweets.
But hey, if "#CouplesCautionaryTales" becomes a trending topic, Tom and Katie could ride that wave to international renown!
Yes, the Schwartzes are a messy pair, even by the standards of a show that's chock full of trainwreck relationships.
Tom and Katie got married on the most recent season of Vanderpump, but despite the fact that they've been together just over a year, the newlyweds have reportedly endured some major rough patches.
In fact, rumors that Schwartz and Maloney are headed for divorce have been circulating for months, and the couple has done little to refute them.
But sources close to TomKat say all hope is not lost.
The newlyweds have are making a last-ditch effort to get their marriage back on the right track, and apparently, it involves babies and a journey to the land of Bjork.
We don't get it either.
“Tom and Katie are planning on going to Iceland this fall to spend time together,” a source close to the couple tells Radar Online.
And what's drawing them to Iceland?
We have no idea, but for whatever reason, it seems like Tom and Katie think that would be the ideal place to conceive their first child:
“Tom wants to focus on the new restaurant and Katie and his marriage,” the insider added.
“They are thinking of starting a family and want to have time away, just the two of them.”
Yes, because just about everyone on Vanderpump was in a relationship during the filming of season 6, we'll apparently be seeing a storyline in which Schwarts and Tom Sandoval attempt to open a restaurant.
(To be called Tom Tom, of course.)
And it seems they're already looking forward to season 7 and a possible "Katie is having a baby" storyline.
Naturally, fans are concerned that Tom and Katie are having a "Band-Aid baby" in order to try and salvage their relationship.
Obviously, we hope that's not the case, but hey, it could be worse.
There's always the possibility that Vanderpump producers have pressured them into a ratings baby, which is too depressing to even think about.
