Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers will face off against the Golden State Warriors in game one of the 2017 NBA Finals.
All Cavs fans' eyes will be on LeBron James, hoping that the living legend will be able to once again help his team rise to the challenge presented by the favored Warriors.
In the gossip world, of course, the focus remains on King James' teammate Tristan Thompson.
As you may be aware, Thompson has been dating Khloe Kardashian since September of last year, and the couple appears to be getting serious.
Things got off to a rocky start, as Tristan impregnated another woman before he started dating Khloe, putting her in the awkward position of supporting her new boyfriend as welcomed his first child.
But now, sources are claiming that the unusual circumstances of their early days may have been the best thing for the couple. as seeing him raise his son has convinced her Khloe that Tristan is the man with whom she wants to start a family.
"Khloe wasn’t exactly thrilled when the news [that Jordan was pregnant with Tristan’s child], but watching Tristan with his son changed everything,” a source tells Star magazine.
“All Khloe’s ever wanted was to get married and start a family.”
But is Tristan equally eager to settle down and start a family with Khloe?
Believe it or not, that might partially depend on his team's performance on the court this week.
Professional athletes are a suspicious talk, and it's been rumored that many take talk of the "Kardashian curse" quite seriously.
Cans fans have urged Tristan to dump Khloe for the good of his team.
A retired NBA player named Rashad McCants recently claimed he would've been a $60 million player if he'd never dated Khloe.
So tonight, the city of Cleveland will be watching with bated breath as their beloved Cavs attempt to once more do the impossible.
But perhaps no one has more riding on the team's performance than Khlow Kardashian.
We're not saying Tristan definitely break up with her if the team loses, of course.
But he might find himself thinking that the warnings of Rashad McCants aren't so crazy after all ...
