If you've been following the drama surrounding the Tarek and Christina El Moussa split, you know that this isn't your typical Hollywood breakup.
The Flip or Flop hosts parted ways following a blow-out fight that allegedly involved Tarek brandishing a gun and threatening suicide.
Amazingly, however, the couple seems to have patched things up to the point they they're able to amicably co-parent and continue to film new episodes of their HGTV series.
Yes, Tarek and Christina still work together, which has been enough to give some fans hope that their might be a reconciliation in the future.
But Tarek says for now, at least, he and Christina are content to just be co-stars:
"Maybe, like, 10 years from now," Tarek recently told Entertainment Tonight.
"Honestly, it took a lot of work to get in a good place for both of us, that I think we are at the point where we aren't looking back, we are looking towards our future."
"I don't know where the future is going to take me, but you never know."
Interestingly, Tarek still talks about his ex in glowing terms.
When asked about his marriage, the 35-year-old father of two had only fond memories to share:
"If I look back, we were absolute best friends, we were soulmates," he told ET.
"We were arm-in-arm and for many, many years, we were the couple that other couples would be jealous of. All the married friends would say, 'Man, you guys are the best, you get along so well,' and over time, it just started to fade."
As for the fact that the former couple still manages to work together, Tarek says the arrangement has been far from easy, but both parties are committed to making it work:
"There are good days, bad days, but, you know, it's our job," El Moussa says.
"We love what we do, so we fight through it. We know what we have to do to support our family and continue our career."
It sounds like these two have reached a stable place in their working and co-parenting relationship.
Here's hoping they don't mess it up by trying for something more.
