Ellen DeGeneres is worried about Justin Bieber, because he’s in a bad, bad way.

Earlier this month, Justin canceled all meet-and-greets he had scheduled with fans, claiming the events are too taxing on his emotional state.

"Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression," he wrote on a post on Instagram.

Ellen reportedly fears he can’t handle all the pressure fame has put upon him, so she’s rounded up his closest friends in an attempt to stage an intervention to address his erratic behavior of late.

“Ellen wants to stage a kind of intervention for Justin,” a source tells Life & Style. “She wants him to get some kind of psychological help to better handle his fame.”

According to the magazine, the talk show host thinks the Biebs is "headed for trouble" and “wants Justin to take a step back from the limelight before he implodes.”

When Justin appeared on The Ellen Show last month, the singer appeared despondent and forgot when his tour started, which was the only thing he had to remember.

Perhaps it was in this moment that she was able to peer into his soul through his lifeless eyes and determine that it, too, was near death.

He did, however, perk up when the host gifted him with a hoverboard.

Shortly after the story broke, Gossip Cop rebuked the intervention rumors as "not true."

Nevertheless, we’re still hoping Ellen will plan an intervention over Bieber’s new dreadlocks, because that hairdo is truly worrisome.
