Justin Bieber is in mourning.
Over the the loss everyone killed in the stunning Paris terrorist attacks last Friday, most notably friend and Universal Music Group executive Thomas Ayad.
The artist opened up about Ayad's passing via the following tribute on Twitter yesterday:
Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy. He was a part of the team for years and I wish I would've had more time to thank him.
Make sure to appreciate people while you have them. Thanks Thomas for everything you did for me. You are appreciated and missed.
Thoughts and prayers are with your family & friends #PrayForParis.
UMG chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge confirmed this week that Ayad was one of the 89 people killed in Friday's attack at the Bataclan theater during the Eagles of Death Metal concert.
Armed terrorists broke into the venue and, according to those who fled and survived, simply opened fire on all in attendance before taking many more hostage.
In total, over 125 people were killed in the mass murders and over 350 were injured.
Love or hate his music, however, one's heart must go out to Justin and anyone who knows a victim of these heinous attacks.
