If there was any lingering doubt that the feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry is very real and very intense, Taylor put them to rest over the weekend by taking a subtle yet significant jab at her pop rival while performing in Massachusetts.

Yes, Shark Week is over, but there’s still bad blood in the water, as Swifty executed an on-stage stunt that can only be interpreted as a shot at everyone’s favorite California gurl.

Watch the clip above closely and you’ll see a man in a shark costume do a goofy little dance behind Taylor as she croons the "
Band-Aids don’t fix bullet holes" line from her hit Katy Perry diss track.

You’ll remember of course that Katy’s backup-dancing sharks at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show became an Internet sensation, with the more awkward "Left Shark" becoming a particular fan favorite.

It could just be a coincidence that a shark appeared behind Taylor during one of the more scathing verses of "Bad Blood," and many devoted Swifties are making that claim – but we have our doubts.

The war between Perry and Swift heated up last week after Katy decried Taylor’s hypocrisy on Twitter.

We find it hard to believe that in the midst of a months-long feud that intensified just days ago, Ms. Swift would use a shark in her stage show without realizing how it would be perceived.

Taylor’s way too savvy for that, and we think she’s made it clear she has no intention of letting this thing go. We can’t wait to see how Katy responds.
