Man, reality shows are dropping like flies over at TLC, where executives brought the axe down on yet another one this afternoon.
Gypsy Sisters is no longer.
The series, which debuted in February 2013, followed the daily life of a group of Romanichal women located in Martinsburg, W.V.
It was a spinoff of "sister" show My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding. So why did the Sisters get the chop from the network?
Dwindling ratings from previous seasons of the show, basically. No smoking gun, but TLC simply felt it was time to move on.
Discussions for a fifth season were on the table until recently, but the top brass decided it was time to go in a different direction.
As for the show's history of fights (above) and a reported dog killing incident from last week, sources say that played no role.
Couldn't have helped though.
At least Gypsy Sisters have some company on the TLC scrap heap. Make room, June Shannon and the Duggars' 19 kids.
