Duck Dynasty Season 8 Episode 1 saw the Robertsons welcome a new member of the family into the fold, and engage in their usual silly antics.
As fans of the Louisiana clan know, John Luke Robertson is engaged to Mary Kate McEacharn. They don’t waste a lot of time down in West Monroe!
John Luke, 19, proposed on his birthday last fall.
Numerous reports claim that the nuptials will be held this Saturday, June 27, as registries at Bed Bath & Beyond and West Elm have been found.
The couple met in 2011 at King’s Camp in Mer Rouge, La., though it wasn’t until they were in the same chemistry class at school that sparks flew.
They had chemistry, one might even say.
Bottom line? The bulk of Duck Dynasty Season 8 Episode 1 was devoted to John Luke on a light-hearted and otherwise uneventful premiere.
Willie and the guys took him golfing prior to his engagement party and offered him marital advice … which didn’t really go over as planned.
Meanwhile, Korie’s shopping trip for engagement presents took longer than she expected, which happens when you take along Miss Kay and Si.
That guy always needs something to do.
Anyway, a good time was had by all, and fans of the Robertsons will not be let down at what transpired on the eighth season opener on A&E.
