Fox announced the first part of its 2015-2016 schedule this morning, making major news on a handful of programming notes:
- New Girl will not premiere until midseason, at which time it will run "its first-ever season of virtually uninterrupted originals."
- The X-Files reboot will also not air until early 2016.
- Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens will headline a brand new night of Tuesday programs.
- American Idol will come to an end following Season 15.
