Suzanne Crough, the actress best known for her role as Tracy Partridge in the beloved ’70s sitcom The Partridge Family – has passed away at the age of 52.
Details, including the cause of death, have not yet been released.
Crough made her last public appearance in 2011, when she participated in a Brady Bunch reunion on the Today Show.
She is survived by two daughters, one of whom is planning to get married this summer.
Having mostly quit acting after The Partridge Family ended its run on ABC in 1974, Crough spent her final years working as the manager of an Office Max in Bullhead City, Arizona.
Crough appeared in the Oscar-winning short film Teenage Father in 1978. She left Hollywood for good shortly thereafter.
Never embarrassed about her transition from child star to every day civilian, Crough often spoke proudly of having a "normal job."
The actress happily interacted with fans, and she always reflected fondly about her time on the Partridge set. In 1999, she spoke out against a scandalous made-for-TV movie that was based on the memoirs of her notorious costar, Danny Bonaduce.
