Wait… did that really just happen?!?

Thanks to the ABC teaser in anticipation of Revenge Season 4 Episode 20, we were prepared for an explosion at Grayson Manor.

But not for Victoria to have set off the blast herself… while inside!

Could this really be it? Could the show’s main villain really be dead, smiling somewhere from above that her framing of Amanda means she lost the battle (i.e. her life), but won the war?

We somehow doubt it.

The episode’s concluding moments also featured the return of Mason Treadwell, who is understandably angry that Amanda chose to out her real identity, thereby rendering his planned tell-all fairly irrelevant.

How will he react to this reveal on Revenge Season 4 Episode 21? We’ll find out next Sunday.

But there’s more to go over from this installment first. To wit:

During another fight with Stevie (this time due to the changing of Carl’s birth certificate to reflect his actual parentage) David revealed that he’s been diagnosed with lymphoma.

His physician caught it early, at least, and he has already started an aggressive course of treatment. However, David couldn’t bring himself to tell Amanda, though Stevie is now on his side.

As for Jack? He announced plans to move with Carl to Los Angeles, prompting Emily to come out with her true feelings.

"I don’t deserve him," she told Nolan… along with Ben, who was apparently just chilling in the shadows like some kind of handsome insane person.

The detective was clearly disappointed to hear Amanda’s confession, but perhaps he can take solace in Amanda’s failed attempt to track Jack down before he took off.

Finally, despite Louise’s most admirable efforts to destroy her ex-husband’s happiness, she discovered that it’s pointless to challenge Nolan Ross, especially when it comes to technology.

As you’ll see when you watch Revenge online, Louise attempted to record Nolan confessing to his attack on Victoria (or at least having knowledge about it), but all she ended up with was a reset cell phone. HA!

Moreover, the night was a double-fail for Louise because Nolan and Tony’s relationship is seemingly stronger than ever, meaning Louise is simply left with Margaux’s shoulder to cry on.

Her cold, unfeeling shoulder, that is.
