Matthew Perry is best known for playing Chandler Bing on Friends, but these days, he’s got a new network sitcom to promote thanks to his role on the CBS reboot of The Odd Couple. (Think less Neil Simon, more Two and a Half Men.)
As much as his new show might suck, it’s a pleasure to see someone like Perry – a nice guy who’s struggled through some hard times – enjoying a second wave of success.
Over the years, Perry has starred in some shows that got canceled, fought some crippling addictions, and suffered the embarrassment of being labeled the second least-successful member of the Friends cast. (We’re looking at you, David Schwimmer.)
But the most humiliating experience of Perry’s life may have come when he broadcast his porn preferences to his entire neighborhood. Literally:
It’s rare to hear a celebrity go into such intimate (arguably TMI) detail about his masturbation habits, but given how hilarious this story is, it would’ve been a crime for Perry to keep it to himself.
The clip is hugely entertaining, and it serves as yet another reminder that Perry deserves better material, but on the downside – Perry’s next reunion with Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox might now be even more awkward than the last one.
