Finally, some Teresa Giudice prison news that could only be described as good news for the incarcerated Real Housewives of New Jersey star:

She’s reportedly getting out a bit earlier than expected!

According to reports, Teresa will be released from prison on December 23 to finish out the remainder of her sentence under house arrest.

That puts her just shy of 12 months behind bars; Giudice was sentenced to 15 months. Looks like Christmas in N.J. instead of Danbury!

If this is true, it flies in the face of earlier reports that she was denied early release thanks to Joe. In any case, things are looking up for Tre.

According to Teresa’s attorney, she is “adjusting well.”

"She is helping to teach exercise classes. The women take turns leading classes and she has her little group, so once in a while she takes the lead.”

She’s also taken on a key role in the kitchen:

"She told me she enjoys it because it helps pass the time and allows her to interact with the other inmates. Plus, she loves being in the kitchen."

Even locked up, it "reminds her of home.”

Prison, according to Teresa’s lawyer, "is all about establishing and maintaining routine, and she has done that … she has adapted well.”

As for the obligatory “diva" reports?

"Any reports that she is behaving like a diva in prison and not getting along with inmates and the staff is 1,000 percent false," her camp insists.

No prison gang fights on the horizon, it sounds like: "She is getting along well with everyone … staff, inmates, all the way down the line.”

When you have minions to do your bidding, well, everything is easier. You either gotta become someone’s b!tch or call the shots, after all.
