DMX may be in trouble with the law.
For someone who seemingly gets arrested every week, this is nothing new.
But the rapper now stands accused of simply robbing some dude he met at a gas station in New Jersey over the weekend.
According to various reports, the incident supposedly took place at an Exxon station in Newark around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.
DMX was talking to an unidentified 21-year old about rap music when a member of the star’s posse pulled out a gun and demanded the man’s money.
The victim told police that he took $3,200 out of his pocket and that DMX snatched the cash before he and the gunman jumped into one of four awaiting black Cadillac Escalades.
The man said he trailed one of the SUVs, wrote down its license plate number and alerted authorities to the alleged crime.
Sergeant Ronald Glover of the Newark police department said the investigation is still in the “early stages."
DMX, meanwhile, performed Saturday night in Newark at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
He once ran around a hotel naked.
