Arrow took on a double meaning on Arrow Season 3 Episode 18, as Ray was hit by one of these weapons in the process of saving Felicity from Maseo.

He was rushed to the hospital, with doctors unsure whether to risk his life via surgery or risk brain damage by not performing surgery.

What about the nano-tech that could save him? The physician said it’s hospital policy to forbid experimental treatments.

Donna Smoak (making another welcome appearance) ended up distracting the doctor (via some “back spasms”) while her daughter slipped Ray the nano-tech. It worked, Ray recuperated… and told Felicity he loved her.

Why couldn’t Felicity reciprocate? Because she loves Oliver, her mom pointed out.

However, Felicity countered that Oliver is “terminally unavailable."

Especially this week, it turns out, as Lance issued first-degree murder warrants for the hero and reinstated the anti-vigilante task force.

Oliver ends up escaping the manhunt with the help of Ra’s ad his helicopters, though Roy gets left behind and Laurel gets cornered by her father, though Nyssa shows up to waylay the captain.

As you’ll see when you watch Arrow online, Lance then gets taken by Ra’s, who tells him the true identity of Arrow, along with the fact that Oliver and Sarah use to chill with Lian Yu.

So Lance goes ahead and outs Arrow to Starling City, making Oliver believe he has to turn himself in.

Inside the prison transport, Lance goes off on Oliver, recounting all the terrible things he brought back with him from the island, along with all who have perished along the way.

"Saving people isn’t your specialty," he tells his nemesis.

Over the past two years, “you made us liars, and victims,” Lance adds, saying Oliver isn’t a "hero," he’s a "villain."

But then there’s an attack on the vehicle by Roy, who uses Oliver’s costume and voice changer to declare himself to be the Arrow, surrendering in the process. WHOA!

In a B storyline, Donna offered up some crumbs about Felicity’s father.

She said he’s the type to “take a chance” when it comes to loved ones and that Papa Smoak apparently tinkered with electronics kits when Felicity was a child.

Well… okay then!

Interesting, but you’ll forgive us if our focus instead lies with Roy and Oliver. Where will things go next?!?
