After a powerhouse start to 2015 last week, which aspiring singing sensations got the four celebrity coaches’ chairs turnt on The Voice Season 8 Episode 3?

Which singers will be on which rosters, and who has what it takes to go all the way?

In the words of the late Stuart Scott, let’s break ’em down for you, real proper like!

Kimberly Nichole, with a nearly flawless rendition of Ike & Tina Turner’s “Nutbush City Limits,” earned a place on Team Pharrell, and deservedly so.

Instantly, she emerged as a contender, although she is also prime material to be used as part of an epic Battle Round duet that leaves her vulnerable.

That’s the irony of The Voice sometimes. Is it better to be a dark horse, like …

Travis Ewing’s cover of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” was one of the most original blind auditions thus far, and Team Pharrell snapped him up quickly.

India Carney took on Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” and took a coveted spot on Team Christina after a four-chair turn that left all the stars coveting her.

Barry Minniefield sang Billy Paul’s “Me and Mrs. Jones” and is now a card-carrying member of Team Adam after pretty much hitting this out of the park.

Kelsie May and Loretta Lynn’s “You’re Lookin’ at Country” seemed tailor made for Team Blake. The 15-year-old has some pitch problems, but hey … 15!

Jacob Rummell selected Bruno Mars’ “Count on Me” and ended up on Team Blake at the end of the night, thanks to the teen’s "inner fire" and intensity.

Sonic, a one-woman act from San Francisco, struggled a touch but won a spot on Christina’s team with her spin on Sam Smith’s “Money on My Mind.”

Michael Leier, after performing Wayne Cochran’s “Last Kiss,” ended up on Team Adam in spite of an effort that was at times flat and marginal at best.

Can he turn it around in the Battles? Or is he a one-and-done audition wonder? What about the rest of these young men and women vying for the glory?
