All was not well for Dr. Wells on The Flash Season 1 Episode 11, not when Hartley Rathaway (also known as Pied Piper) returned to S.T.A.R. Labs and exposed the good (bad?) doctor’s secret.
That he’s Reverse Flash? No. That he was well aware the particle accelerator could explode on that fateful day, yet he went ahead with the launch anyhow.
Elsewhere during the fun hour, Joe could not ignore his instincts that Dr. Wells is hiding something. He therefore tasked Eddie with investigating the shady S.T.A.R. labs head honcho.

But executive producer Andrew Kreisberg spoke to TV Line about impending events on The Flash Season 1 and teased that Wells’ end game “will happen this season.”
He also assured viewers that the doctor possesses a “definitive plan.”
Has Wells done a lot of good for Barry? Of course.
However, "as secrets start to come out, how do you reconcile the Harrison Wells that we see in this episode, who’s a friend and selfless and kind, with this monster?” Kreisberg asks, making it clear Wells really is a villain.
Finally, taking a glance ahead to Barry’s live life, Kreisberg previews that Linda Park (portrayed by The Vampire Diaries‘ Malese Jow) will serve as a “a spark plug." The producer adds:
"She’s a firecracker. She’s a lot of fun. She’s ballsy and she speaks her mind and she’s cool. Barry can’t believe that somebody like her is interested in him."
