The first task saw the men and women teams produce a commercial for a tech company, with Kevin Jonas and Kate Gosselin as Project Managers.
Geraldo Rivera, meanwhile, was the CEO of … feuding with everyone.
It was obvious early on that Gosselin was a bad fit as a manager for the task, and not because she refused to call Bill Cosby and ask for money.
The burden fell on her teammates, such as Brandi Glanville, to pick up the slack, and while they all second guessed Kate, the team got it done.
Kevin Jonas was so sure Rivera a goner that he brought in Ian Ziering in as his second choice to be fired, believing that they could gang up on Geraldo.
You don’t try to manipulate the Donald, however, and Nick paid for it.
Bringing Ziering into the board room was a strategic move, but not a good one, as Ian didn’t deserve to be there and it ended up sealing Jonas’ fate.
The second task of the night, developing an entertaining taste-test for a frozen food company, pitted Terrell Owens against Vivica A. Fox as managers.
The men felt that with Gilbert Gottfried on their team, they had a secret weapon. That was sort of true, only the weapon was used against themselves.
Raunchy comedy? Not a great fit for a professional, and family affair.
Joining Gottfried in the boardroom hot seat were Owens and Rivera, but Gottfried’s colossally bad performance left the man in charge no choice.
He’d never fire a comedian just for being terrible, he insisted … but come on Gilbert, there’s a time and place for sex jokes, and this was not it. Not. It.
