The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Mama Joyce, a.k.a. Kandi Burruss' mother, says she is saddened by the death of her son-in-law Todd's mother Sharon.
She has no plans to attend the funeral for Miss Sharon, however.
After Sharon Tucker died earlier this week, the relationship between Kandi's outspoken mom and Todd - and by extension Todd's mom - returned to the spotlight.
Mama Joyce, as you know well if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, had a toxic relationship with both Tuckers that played out rather dramatically.
That's putting it as nicely and mildly as we can, to be honest.
Joyce totally belittled her son-in-law and his mom on Bravo, accusing him of fame and money grubbing and saying he was raised by a pimp and a prostitute (Sharon).
In the wake of Sharon's death, Mama Joyce says she regrets attacking her by repeating gossip (which was false) and wishes they had buried the hatchet.
That's a tough pill to swallow when someone passes away, but she says the best thing she can do now is to build a better relationship with Todd.
As for why she won't go to the funeral, she says it's out of respect, not disrespect, for Sharon's friends and family, many of whom would not be happy to see her.
She's going to send flowers instead, she says. Smart woman.
