Despite Apollo Nida’s recent admission that he lied about Kenya Moore trying to get with him, his estranged wife Phaedra Parks is still not a fan of hers.
In fact, she still doesn’t believe Moore, or buy Nida’s newfound retraction, which you remember if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online.
After NeNe Leakes cast doubt on Sunday’s episode over Apollo‘s claim that he lied about Kenya, Parks called her co-star “a very supportive friend.”
NeNe mused that Apollo was “lying about lying” as a means of trying to hurt Phaedra, and that Kenya still couldn’t be trusted at all in any situation.
“Things that she said … you know she’s not a truthful person!” NeNe told Kandi Burruss and Phaedra on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7 Episode 4.
How does Phaedra feel about Leakes weighing in bluntly on her personal drama?
“All in all, I think NeNe made a fair observation,” Parks said afterward, noting Kenya’s purported “unladylike and disrespectful behavior with men.”
“It was easy for her, and anyone else, to conclude that Kenya is not innocent.”
Kenya says she’s vindicated by Apollo’s reversal. His wife isn’t so sure.
Phaedra says Kenya is “twirling on an emotional roller coaster in an effort to gain sympathy” and trying to play the victim to shift the focus away from her own misdeeds.
“You cannot make it so easy for people to believe salacious stories about you and then expect pity when one story may not be true,” Parks points out.
“Kenya wants everyone to forget she is the person who flaunted inappropriate, flirty behavior with numerous men, and repeatedly lied about her male suitors or lack thereof.”
Phaedra admitted this has taken a toll on her, and “there has been so much lying and manipulation going on … it is not a constructive use of my time to keep score.”
