From Stanley wanting Jimmy dead to Paul being added to Elsa’s hit list to Ethel threatening to do away with her own boss, a lot went down on American Horror Story Season 4 Episode 6.
We’ll start with (birthday girl!) Elsa, who claimed the Tattlers left on their own in a “selfish move."
She also brought her spinning wheel into the big tent and assured Ethel that she’d bring all the freaks with her to Hollywoodo (HA! Yeah, right.)
Over at the Motts, meanwhile, Dandy complained that he didn’t like his new maid. Too bad he stabbed the old one to death, huh?
In response, Gloria told her murderous son that “hindsight is 20/20” and then handed him some condoms to avoid him knocking up the twins. But he was aghast at the prospect of having sex with Dot and Bette. He just wanted to marry them because they made him feel "normal."
Dot wondered (in her journal) what sort of “dark intentions” waited for the sisters, but then grew intrigued by the fact that Dandy could afford the surgery that would break them apart. Then, perhaps, she could end up with Jimmy.
She later stood up for Jimmy after Dandy claimed HE was the hero at the Twisty murder scene. This led, of course, to a massive tantrum by Dandy.
This storyline concluded for now with Dandy crying in his playroom over Dot’s diary entries. He pulled out a knife, saying his “purpose is to bring death,” but then Jimmy arrived at the mansion.
Back to Elsa: She grew outraged when her employees said they missed the twins, demanding her freaks start to have fun in honor of her birthday.
In her room, however, we saw Elsa having her own kind of fun with Paul, teasing him about maybe going to Tinseltown with the others, but warning him not to fall in love with her. No worries there: he was already in live with Penny the Candy Striper.
It was while Paul was in town buying perfume for Penny that he noticed Dandy buying stuff in sets of two and later suggested that Elsa may have given the twins away to the Motts.
Paul then accused Elsa of this same transgression, prompting her to gather the crew and dare then to challenge her. She needed proof of their loyalty. She needed someone to strap him or herself to the wheel.
Paul volunteered and – OOPS! – Elsa nailed him in the gut with a knife.
Meanwhile, Maggie convinced Stanley that they should take Ma Petit instead of murder Jimmy. She even got Petit to agree to go into Stanley’s tent and put herself in a jar (“Like a butterfly?” she asked)…
… but Maggie couldn’t go through with it. Much to Stanley’s ire, she returned Ma Petit and kissed Jimmy, urging him to run away with her.
Finally, as night fell, Ethel served Elsa a piece of cake (while everyone was at Paul’s bedside). She also served her pal with a warning: If I ever found out you were lying and did wrong by those girls, I’ll kill you with my own two hands.
Is that how Elsa will someday meet her fate?
