Jaden Smith is apparently a rapper now, and unlike his dad who might be the last hip hop artist to ever score hits while keepin' it G-rated, Jaden drops casual references to sex and gun play like it ain't no thang, y'all:
The most interesting thing about the lyrics, however, is that they seem to be addressed to an ex-girlfriend who's growing up too fast.
Jaden and Kylie Jenner dated on and off for several years, which leads us to believe that when Jaden raps about sleeping "with the girl of his dreams," he may be referring to his Selfie Queen ex.
Unfortunately, the rest of the song is less flattering to Kylie (or to whomever it's addressed), as Jaden frequently criticizes the girl for being impulsive and "driving too fast."
That line might actually contain a clever double meaning as not only has Kylie wrecked some expensive cars, she's frequently been accused of rushing into adulthood.
Yes, we just used the word "clever" in reference to a Jaden Smith lyric. As much as it pains us to admit it, the song is actually not bad.
Of course, lyrics like "live out your youth with me before they be shootin' me" just serve as an indication that Jaden is no longer content to confine his delusional ramblings to his Twitter page, which means that if his rap career takes off, you might not be able to turn on your radio without hearing psychobabble BS from the mouth a teenager who calls himself "The Holy One."
Yeah, let's hope this whole rap thing was just a hobby Jaden will soon get sick of.
