Sir Mix-a-Lot likes big butts, and he cannot lie.

Seriously, the rapper’s anaconda don’t want none unless you got buns. Hon.

So, on the heels of Nicki Minaj sampling Sir Mix-a-Lot’s biggest only hit – doing side bends and sit ups, but not losing that butt – and coming out this week with the Anaconda music video, what does the original artist have to say about Minaj’s effort?

"DAMNNNNN!!!!!!"

That was Sir Mix-a-Lot’s one-word Tweet yesterday, after watching Minaj shake what her mama gave her, while also giving Drake a lap dance and doing naughty stuff with bananas.

Actually, he wrote more. His full comment: "Ok after watching @NickiMinaj Anaconda 37times I only have one word to sum up my feelings. DAMNNNNN!!!!!!"

Clearly, he approves, and Minaj, who samples "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot prominently on "Anaconda," was flattered by the veteran rapper’s review.

She shared a screenshot of his tweet on Instagram, adding, "LMFAOOOO. Life is so crazy. Thank u Sir MixALot. Still influencing us decades later. YouDaMan."

Minaj, meanwhile, is considered Da Woman at the moment. The "Anaconda" has been viewed 21.7 million times in 36 hours of release, an all-time high.

She will perform the track live for the first time during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday and also take to the stage for "Bang Bang" with Ariana Grande and Jessie J and "She Came to Give It to You" with Usher.

It’s the world of Nicki Minaj these days, folks. We’re just living in it.
