But that’s the exact basis for the rapper’s "Headlights" video, which was directed by Spike Lee and filmed in the artist’s childhood neighborhood of Detroit.

Told from his mother’s point of view, the video features lines such as “Ma, you’re still beautiful to me because you’re my mom,” and “I love you, Debbie Mathers," a stark contrast from 2002’s "Cleanin Out My Closet," in which Eminem went off on Mathers.
