The Voice welcomed new coach Pharrell Williams and new mentor Chris Martin into the fold Monday, but not even those two could outshine the competition.

In the first-ever round two of the battles (essentially the battles replacing the knockouts this season), six duos went head to head for all the marbles.

Who won, who lost and who was stolen? Let’s break it down!

Audra McLaughlin vs. Megan Ruger (Team Blake)

Chris Martin, fresh off his conscious uncoupling with Gwyneth Paltrow, mentored the girls with his talent, genuinely constructive critiques and humor.

In learning that they selected "The Climb," he asked, “Does she twerk in that song?” No Miley Cyrus Twerking in that one, C-Mart. Just pure inspiration.

When it came time for battle, Audra blew away the judges and Blake, despite saying what a tough call it was, said, "I think I can win this thing with Audra.”

TJ Wilkins vs. Cierra Mickens (Team Usher)

Another WOW performance. How good was it?

“I just shed a tear for all of these other shows that have singers, the singing competitions, because this is the best one,” said Adam Levine.

Shade on American Idol? Thrown. Hard.

All the contestants care about is the ticket to move on, and TJ was the one to receive it in a bit of a surprise to some viewers, as Cierra was outstanding.

Josh Murley vs. Patrick Thomson (Team Shakira)

The fellas’ vocals on "Run To You" were impressive, but it all came down to the unique, raspy stylings of the latter, causing their coach to choose Patrick.

Jake Worthington vs. Tess Boyer (Team Blake)

This battle using John Hiatt’s "Have A Little Faith In Me" was just outstanding, leaving Blake Shelton asking “What the hell am I about to do here?”

His decision came down to staying in the country genre with Jake as his winner, even though he deemed it a tie. The others saw it as a tie also.

Tess was stolen by ALL THREE coaches; Shakira told Tess that she is the best female voice in the competition, and that convinced her to join up.

Christina Grimmie vs. Sam Behymer (Team Adam)

The ladies sang OneRepublic‘s "Counting Stars," and while it wasn’t the most impressive performance Christina has given, it was enough to get the nod.

Delvin Choice vs. Josh Kaufman (Team Adam)

These two went head-to-head with Stevie Wonder’s "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours" and knocked it out of the park for a standing O from the coaches.

Adam was angry with himself for putting these guys up against each other and losing "a potential winner" of the entire show as a result of that mistake.

But he had to pick, and he chose Delvin.

Usher hit his button instantly for Josh.
