Out magazine released its 8th annual list of the most powerful figures in the LGBT community this week and the choice for number one may surprise…absolutely no one.

Naturally, Queen of all Media Ellen DeGeneres took the top spot for the second year in a row.

The magazine’s editors explained their decision by pointing out that Ellen’s daytime show continues to break its own ratings records, her famous Oscars selfie became the stuff of Twitter legend, and – perhaps most importantly – “everybody loves Ellen.”

Runner-up on the list may be less famous, but he’s certainly no less successful. Out dubbed Apple CEO Tim Cook “the most powerful gay man America.”

Since taking the reins for the one of the world’s most recognized brands, Cook has rarely discussed his sexual orientation, but the Alabama native opened up about the prejudice he faced as a youth during a speech in his home state last year.

Celebs who help round out the top ten include Rachel Maddow, Neil Patrick Harris, Andy Cohen and Robin Roberts.
