As previously reported, Craig Ferguson stepped down from The Late Late Show yesterday.
He will officially depart as host in December.
Below, we’ve posted a video of Ferguson’s announcement, in which he joked that he may next look into carpentry and after which he quipped that he and CBS are "consciously uncoupling."

This, of course, is the latest shake-up in the late-night talk show world.
David Letterman will be turning over The Late Show to Stephen Colbert next year; John Oliver just kicked off a Sunday evening program on HBO; and Jimmy Fallon took over The Tonight Show in February.
