Last night’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 Episode 18 saw Phaedra Parks warn Apollo Nida to please, for everyone’s sake, stay away from Kenya Moore.
Obviously, we wouldn’t watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online every week without fail if he took heed and abided by those wise words, would we? No. No.
Apollo is obviously not thinking things through here but considering we are talking about Apollo Nida, let’s try not to act too surprised by this alarming revelation.
That being said, most of the installment was spent revisiting old storylines without advancing them, so the hype was much greater than the payoff … however:
The alleged flirting between Apollo Nida and Kenya Moore that raised the ire of Phaedra Parks certainly came up again and things got more than a bit awkward.
Whatever happened earlier this year – she was clearly into him, he behaved at least semi-inappropriately, Phaedra was reluctant to go on this trip to Mexico.
Apparently, that Bravo contract is air-tight, because she goes anyway AND she brings Apollo along, ’cause nothing can go wrong in this scenario at all.
When the supposed flirting partners do confront one another, Kenya tells Apollo she is pissed that he is throwing shade at her indirectly, which he has been.
He says he chose not to sleep with her even though he obviously could have. She sort of denies that’s the case but isn’t making a strong argument for it.
Then things become more light-hearted and flirty almost, and of course, Phaedra shows up and of course, Phaedra asks why the two are together alone.
End scene. Seriously. That was all she wrote.
A bit anti-climactic, since he didn’t leer at her or make a pass or even get into a full-blown argument with Kenya. What’s going to happen next week?
We’ll have to wait and see. Elsewhere:
- Kenya, having previously visited a sperm bank, goes through a Mexican fertility ritual, hoping it will make it easier for her to get pregnant.
- Kandi Burruss’ fiance Todd repeats what he had demanded a couple of episodes ago: Kandi and Mama Joyce need to go into counseling.
