Are Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried upset at having to put off their dream wedding - at least if they want it on TV - because of Sean Lowe?
The Bachelorette starlet, who accepted Chris' proposal just a few months after Sean sent her packing on The Bachelor, is on cloud nine these days.
At least she wants us to believe that, no matter many critics have been shutting down her relationship. Des is always one to stick up for herself.
The latest hiccup in their relationship comes not from Twitter gossip, however, but from planning their special day and whether to have it on ABC.
Hartsock and Siegfried initially showed interest in a summer wedding, however, it appears they will have to wait a bit longer before tying the knot.
Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici will wed LIVE in January 2014, forcing Hartsock and Siegfried’s marriage to take a back seat until next fall.
With Sean and Cat marrying and Juan Pablo's season about to begin (check out The Bachelor spoilers!) that bumps Des to the back burner a bit.
“She’s very upset about not being able to get married in the summer like she’s always dreamed, but she’s willing to make the sacrifice," a source said.
"She would marry Chris tomorrow if she could. She just wants to get married so bad, but still wants to be able to take advantage of having a TV wedding.”
The news upset bridal stylist Desiree Hartsock because she is anxious to start planning the wedding, but she will have to wait due to ABC scheduling.
As for why she'd care about marrying on TV in the first place?
“Desiree wasn’t originally on board with the idea of having a TV wedding, but realized that this was a perfect opportunity to launch her dream career as a bridal designer."
What’s frustrating to the brunette beauty, though, is the fact that "Sean and Catherine are also having one, so that means ABC will want to space them out.”
One thing that Des is looking forward to is her wedding dress.
“She thinks it will be a great way to make a name for herself in bridal fashion once everyone sees how great of a designer she is,” said the source.
Priorities. Never let a good PR opportunity go to waste.
