Authorities in Harlem found 14 bags of marijuana in the backpack of a 3 year old at The New LIFE school in Harlem on Friday morning.
14 bags. Of marijuana. In a 3 year old’s backpack. Put there by an adult friend of her family.

A teacher at the child’s school called the police after smelling marijuana on the toddler. Upon investigating, police found the 14 bags of marijuana which had been put there at some point before the toddler was taken to school.
After questioning the child and her parents, police arrested 24-year-old Kelly Mena, a friend of the toddler’s father. He allegedly placed the marijuana inside the toddler’s pink Minnie Mouse backpack.
Police have charged Mena with criminal possession and criminal sale of marijuana. They didn’t charge him with stupidity or being a bad human.
