Nic Hawk, a contestant on The Voice Season 5, made his decision to join Team Adam Levine after blatantly hitting on the handsome Maroon 5 frontman.
Hawk, one of eight singers to advance on The Voice season premiere, got two coaches to turn around in his blind audition: Adam and Cee Lo Green.
Nic hesitated for a moment before confessing to Adam, "My only problem is that I don’t know if I’d be able to focus, because you’re so good-looking!"
In response, Levine covered his face with a notepad, reacting like a seventh-grader trying to decide how to feel about his apparent crush’s feelings.
"Go with your heart!" Christina Aguilera advised Hawk, who did.
"I hit on Adam Levine!" the singer said backstage.
"That just happened? That was real?"
It was. And has the potential to cause some drama. Adam is engaged to Behati Prinsloo … and is also involved in an intense bromance with Blake Shelton.
"That’s gonna be a conflict though," Blake told his fellow coach.
"You can’t have a relationship with someone on your team."
"I’ll never cheat on you, bro. Don’t worry," Adam said.
