You’ve heard the rumor before: Hoda Kotb may be leaving Today.
But here’s an addendum to that chatter: Hoda Kotb may be leaving Today… for The View!
Sources tell The New York post that NBC producers are "very interested" in Kathie Lee Gifford’s co-anchor and have already reached out to Kotb.
The ABC talk show, of course, will have a spot open up next month when Joy Behar leaves after 16 years.
“Hoda addresses several of their needs," the insider tells the newspaper. "She has news experience, which is something The View has not had since Meredith Vieira left. She also adds some diversity to the panel.”
Kotb has co-hosted the fourth hour of Today alongside Gifford since 2007.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck, meanwhile, left The View to join Fox News and was replaced by Jenny McCarthy last month.
