Allen Iverson has abducted his own children, according to his ex-wife Tawanna.
Three weeks later, she’s begging the court to force Allen to give them back.
Tawanna Iverson says Allen recently asked for, and was granted, permission to take their five kids on a short vacation to Charlotte, N.C. from May 22-26.
The kids, ages 3-16, have not returned from this, however.
Tawanna says she even tried to set up an “exchange” back on June 4 at a nearby Target parking lot, but the former NBA star never showed up.
She has sole legal and primary physical custody of the kids.
According to her, she thinks Allen never took the kids to N.C. in the first place and is currently keeping them at a Sheraton hotel in Georgia.
She says Allen’s an alcoholic who drinks around their kids.
Tawanna is asking the court to force him to return the children to her and to punish Iverson as well, even suggesting a judge throw him in the slammer.
Attempts to reach Allen were unsuccessful … obviously.
That’s sort of the point. His whereabouts are unknown.
