Jake Brigance is set to hit the courtroom again.
John Grisham will release a sequel to his 1989 smash A Time to Kill in October, the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group announced this week.
It will once again feature the character Matthew McConaughey brought to life in the big screen version of the original, focusing on this Mississippi lawyer and promising to be full of "“intrigue, suspense and plot twists," according to Knopf.
A Time to Kill was actually Grisham's first novel.
It found new popularity after The Firm and other thrillers made the author into a major name and was reissued, turning into a best-seller.
A Time to Kill was later adapted into both a film and a stage production.
