Lindsay Lohan told David Letterman last night that rehab – she’s checking in May 2, b/c she has to attend Coachella, obvi – is "a blessing and not a curse."
This quote came in response to Letterman grilling her like a madman, firing off one question after another regarding the actress’ life and problems.
Dave’s oh-so-subtle ice-breaker? "Aren’t you supposed to be in rehab now?"
Lindsay, who seemed slightly irritated but handled it pretty well, responded, "Don’t you watch anything that goes on? What are you, a tabloid now?"
She eventually said that she’s going to rehab – where she’s been "several" times before – and that it’s truly for the best, both for her career and life.
But Letterman kept pressing about Lindsay Lohan’s addiction problems, prompting her to finally hit back, "Okay, now you’re starting to sound like Dr. Phil."
