It was A Good Day to Die Hard at the box office this weekend.
But not a great day.
The latest addition to this Bruce Willis franchise earned a fairly weak $25 million on Friday and Saturday, good enough for first place, but far lower than the initial haul of Live Free or Die Hard in 2007. It banked $33.4 million.

Scroll down for a look at the weekend’s top five:
- A Good Day to Die Hard – $25 million
- Safe Haven – $21.4 million
- Identity Thief – $23.4 million
- Escape from Planet Earth – $16.1 million
- Warm Bodies – $9 million
