After Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade dropped 26 points on 11-13 shooting last night in a 101-92 win over the Atlanta Hawks, teammate LeBron James was fired up.
So much so, he uncharacteristically called out one of Wade’s loudest critics.
“It means Charles Barkley needs to shut up,” James said in response to a question of what Wade’s performance meant to the team and to the All-Star himself.

“I mean, the man’s shooting 80 percent from the floor in the last couple games. Come on, man. That’s like crazy, right? That’s why he is who he is. Unbelievable.”
Barkley had criticized Wade on TNT extensively last week, saying that Wade is “losing his athletic ability,” doesn’t “explode anymore” and is “no longer the same player.”
Wade is 20-25 from the field this week, so he may be an even better one.
