As if Mario Lopez won’t be suffering enough this fall by standing alongside Khloe Kardashian on The X Factor stage, the TV personality can’t even crave a chicken sandwich these days without receiving flak!

The Extra host has found himself at the center of controversy do the following, recently-sent Tweet:

In response, gay right advocate Dan Savage lashed out at the man who made A.C. Slater and colorful tanktops famous on Saved by the Bell.

 

Tweeted the columnist to Lopez: “Because you’re a thoughtless jerk who just alienated the gay men you expected to buy your new line of crapper manpanties?”

The contentious issue of gay marriage and Chick-Fil-A’s unexpected role in the topic clearly isn’t going away any time soon.
