In an incident that nearly made Anderson Cooper do the same thing on air, Gerard Depardieu urinated involuntarily this week aboard an airplane.
The French actor says he is “humiliated” by his public urination and has apologized, saying he has prostate issues and offered to help mop up.
The Depar-one occurred in the aisle, in case you missed it.
Following the incident, which occurred after Gerard could not hold it before takeoff, the aircraft taxied back to the terminal and he was removed.
In a statement on Depardieu’s behalf to the French press, his traveling companion on that fateful flight, actor Edouard Baer, said this:
“Gerard was upset at this and offered to clean up the mess. He has prostate problems and it was very worrying and humiliating for him.”
“He was also stone-cold sober. This is not the way he usually behaves.”
Now that has THG – pun very much intended – very much relieved.
