Jennifer Hudson was hospitalized in New York earlier today after suffering abdominal pains. She had just performed on Good Morning America.
As part of GMA‘s Summer Concert Series in Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield, the Oscar winner was promoting her second album, I Remember Me.
A second live appearance slated for today – on CBS’ Early Show – was nixed because of the singer’s condition, which is hopefully stable.

Here’s wishing Jennifer Hudson a speedy recovery.
UPDATE: Hudson’s rep says, “After performing on Good Morning America earlier today, Jennifer Hudson went to the hospital due to severe abdominal pains.”
Luckily, the rep adds, “She was treated for food poisoning and released.”
