Simply put, Scott Dangerfield doesn’t look like the next American Idol.
The 22-year old student teacher showed up for this week’s Milwaukee auditions with long hair, glasses and an overall genuine demeanor. Seriously, the guy didn’t seem nervous or anxious or like he was trying to show off for the cameras.
But the approach certainly worked, as Jennifer Lopez referred to Dangerfield’s rendition of Amos Lee’s “Dreamin” as the best of the night. She couldn’t wait to put him through to Hollywood, where he joined Jermome Bell and a host of others from the city. Check out Scott’s performance here:
