It’s been over two and a half years since Eliot Spitzer was caught in a prostitution ring.

Since then, the former New York Governor has been publicly disgraced, while his mistress has gone on to semi-fame, including a spread in Playboy.

Now, Spitzer is back in the news: his CNN primetime show premieres tonight at 8 p.m. On Parker Spitzer, he’ll square off against Pulitzer Prize-winning conservative columnist Kathleen Parker on a nightly basis.

 
“I made a huge unjustifiable, inexcusable error of judgment… for which I’ve tried to both apologize and atone,” the ex-politician told People. “Now I would like to move on and participate in some productive way.”

Spitzer admits that he still regrets letting down friends, family members and supporters. “It will never stop,” he says. “Nor should it.”
