Brittany Murphy’s funeral will be held tomorrow night, on Christmas Eve, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, according to sources close to her.
The actress will be laid to rest less than a week after her tragic death at the age of 32. Murphy died suddenly of a heart attack early Sunday at her home.
The funeral service at Forest Lawn, the final resting place of the late Michael Jackson as well as many other celebrities, is listed as “strictly private.”
The cause of death is listed as cardiac arrest but the autopsy results were deferred and won’t be released for the next couple of weeks at the earliest.
At that point, we may know more from toxicology screenings about whether the various medications found in Murphy’s home contributed to her death.
