It’s still unclear for how long Victoria Beckham will remain on American Idol.
But the chesty British singer has already surpassed her initial agreement to only serve as a one-time guest judge.
Beckham sat in on the panel last Friday, as American Idol auditions took place in Denver; today, she arrived in Boston for another set. While her rep says Posh Spice still won’t sign on as a permnanet judge, Victoria told Ryan Seacrest that she’s trying to model herelf after Paula Abdul:
“I want to be nice to people,” she said. “I know how it feels to stand there and be judged… I don’t want to shatter anybody’s dream, but at the same time there’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism.”
As for Abdul, Beckham has confidence everything will work out well for the mentally unbalanced former judge.
“I’m a spiritual person and I believe that you get back what you put out there, and I hope she does something that is bigger and better. There’s something great for her around the corner, I’m sure.”
Indeed, Paula will guest star on Ugly Betty this fall.
