The 16-year-old starlet is trying to set up her BFF, Taylor Swift.
Her target? Pal and fellow musician Jonathan Cook.
Her plan is already coming together. Gomez already introduced the country crooner and the Forever the Sickest Kids frontman via iChat – and it’s working!
Calling Swift his “celebrity crush,” Cook gushed: “She is gorgeous… She is an amazing songwriter, and I can relate to her not only as a musician but also as a writer.”

Selena Gomez, who is featured on the Forever the Sickest Kids’ track “Whoa Oh,” doesn’t go easy on Jonathan Cook in the romance department.
“Selena suggests girls for me to date,” Cook said, adding that as a caveat, “she has told me she has to approve of any girls that I date.”
As for any reverse matchmaking opportunities he has planed?
“I’ve suggested that she date Shia LeBeouf,” Cook said.
