First Lady Michelle Obama’s first trip to New York City since her husband was elected President left audiences floored in more ways than one.
She drew raves at the Time 100 Most Influential People Awards at the Time Warner Center for both her stunning floor-length navy blue gown from high-end French designer Azzedine Alaia and her touching keynote address Tuesday.
Her hip pink sneakers did not make an appearance this time around, but that’s probably a good thing. Here’s Michelle’s latest fashion statement:

This was just part of a busy, fashionable day for Michelle Obama, who also donned a Tracy Feith dress for a meet-and-greet at the U.S. mission to the UN.
The previous day, she looked casual, yet chic at a Hispanic Heritage event at the Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School in D.C., worked in the garden, and dressed back up for a Cinco de Mayo celebration at the White House.
Oh, and she even made time for dinner with Oprah!
