After appearing yesterday on The Late Show David Letterman, U2 was honored with the temporary renaming of a portion of W. 53rd Street in New York City.

Did U2 deserve this recognition? Probably. The band has contributed an enormous amount to music and the world in general, via Bono’s charity work.
But it got us to wondering: what other celebrities deserve to have a street named after them?
